 Aqeedah Tahaawiyah Course

A short course on this indispensible guide of faith.

A unique opportunity to learn the fundamentals aspects of the creed of Islam that have always remained elusive to you. Throught the medium of the classical and widely accepted compilation of Imam Tahawi, discover the answer to questions such as:

• What are the attributes of Allah?

Can Allah be seen and heard?

Where is Allah?

What knowledge and power did the Messenger of Allah (SAW) have?

What is our belief in relation to fate and destination?

Does one remain a Muslim when committng sin?

What is the nature of angels and what are their abilities?

Can miracles be performed by humans other than Prophets?

and many more.

 

The Aqeedah Tahawiyyah is a classical and concise compilation of the creeds of the ahlus sunnah wal jama’ ah on the fundamental beliefs of a Muslim. It covers what a Muslim should know, believe and inwardly understand with relation to his Creator, His divine attributes and the articles of faith

The fundamentals of faith will be presented as a living and dynamic reality, providing the student with a well versed and clear explanation of this essential text from clear proofs in the Qur'an and authenticated teachings from ahaadeeth, as understood and practised by his illustrious Companions.

The student shall develop a greater and deeper understanding of aqeedah, and an enhanced love for their deen. Any misconceptions related to faith will be cleared and there will be opportunity for Q&A.

Places are limited to 250 only therefore please register early to avoid disappointment.

The course will be split into 5 sessions each lasting one hour and 30 mins followed by a 20 min break for Q&A.  After the first two sessions there will be a one hour break for lunch and zohar.

Please note the following:

·         If you intend to leave early or if you may need to leave inbetween, please ensure you sit at the back of the hall.

·         Please do not bring any young children as unfortunately, we cannot make arrangements for children at this event.

·         Sisters are requested to ensure they dress appropriately and modestly when attending the event.

·         Please switch mobile phones off or keep them silent during the event.

·         Wudhu facilities are limited therefore please try to attend after performing wudhu at home.
