ISLAMIC STUDIES COURSE

Course Aim

To embark on a programme of study specifically tailored to suit the requirements of those wishing to deepen their understanding of an Islamic lifestyle without the scholarly approach to studying works academically.

The course will focus on improving your ability to practice and implement Islam by providing you with an understanding of key elements of Islam, such as Islamic law, beliefs and the Quran, alongside practical advice and guidance on socials, moral and spirituality.

Method of Study

Lessons, study groups, readings and discussion. Although the course sets no homework it requires that students spend some time after each day of study recapitulating the day’s lessons.

Course Content  

The course is based around eight themes that are broken down into daily lessons over a period of three years as detailed in the ‘Course Details’ page.

Course Requirements

There are no formal course requirements besides a commitment to learn and improve and regular attendance of all lessons. Students need no prior knowledge to enrol and complete beginners are welcome.

Course Fee

The course fee is £20 a month for payable over 12 months. This can be paid as a lump sum or in instalments to suit your circumstances. Students who pay as a lump sum will receive £20 off the annual cost of the course. While we are flexible with arrangements for paying fees, we request that all fees should be paid in full within 6 months of the starting date.
