CONSTRUCTING MASAAJID

CONSTRUCTING MASAAJID

‘Whoever builds a mosque for Allah (be it small or large) Allah will build for him a house in paradise.’ (Bukhari).

The masjid is a centre of Islamic engagement and activity, providing much more than a place of worship. A masjid provides essential educational provision and is a base from which supplies can be distributed and services delivered. The first and foremost duty performed by the Prophet saw) upon arriving at Madina at the time of migration was to build a mosque. By donating towards this noble cause, you are also investing in your own hereafter as the Prophet (saw) said has ‘Whoever builds a mosque for Allah (be it small or large) Allah will build for him a house in paradise.’ (Bukhari).

The cost of building a Masjid ranges from £10,000 to £20,000 and is the ideal isaale sawab for your deceased friends and relatives. To help complete an unfinished Masjid is approx £1500. To get involved in this project, please contact MMTQ or donate here.
